~I am away on Sundays for Church!~
I am a late bloomer that has dabbled with art all of my life. I studied in design and working in oils at UMA, University Of Maine At Augusta. I have worked in pen, pencil, acrylics, oils and water colors. For the last couple of years I have concentrated on photography and now I am taking classes in both Photoshop and Photography in hopes of improving my ability. My next step is to learn digital drawing. Oh, yes, I also worked in Poser when it first came out and even sold a few pieces. But, I no longer have the finances or the storage room on my small laptop to render in Poser any longer. I am a Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. I am blessed and grateful!

I got an email yesterday from my satellite company. I am sitting at 70% on my usage table for uploads and downloads. So, I have been tapered back, and am at risk of losing any speed whatsoever.I have to follow the guide lines and only upload and download between midnight and 5 a.m.
Of course, it's not 5 a.m. here right now, and, I still can't see any images.This journal appears to be one long piece of white paper. I have no clue, what the finished product will look like. I just hope you can read it.
I can up the plan I am on and get more access right away. But, it still won't take me to 100%. So why pay more and still not get set back to 10

All this time, I have not been able to access my account here, is not related to my satellite connection. I came to this conclusion after being able to visit all other sites with no problems whatsoever.
I am simply not able to access here at peak times. That leads me to believe the problem lies on DA's side. Perhaps, with so many members, their servers become overwhelmed, and, only those of you who have DSL, Cable and/or some sort of fiber optics connection are the only ones who can access.
So please know I will get online here when I can. I am tired of trying over, and over, and over to load my page. That is impossible to do at times even

Happy Weekend Everyone

I hope everyone has a great weekend. If all goes well, I will be hitting the back roads with camera in hand in the morning. We have a State run Nature Preserve not very far from here, and it's usually loaded with birds, water fowl, and other critters.
We have a lot of birds migrating back through early this year from up north. I suppose that means we may just have an early Autumn. I love Autumn. The colors are always great, and we have so many water fowl, and different birds that migrate down through here on their way back home to South America and/or Mexico.
